Constitution Day
Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is observed in India on November 26 to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949. The day highlights the importance of the Constitution in ensuring justice, equality, and liberty for all citizens. It also honors Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
On this day, various programs are held across the country, including reading the Preamble, discussions on constitutional values, and awareness campaigns about citizens’ rights and duties. It serves as a reminder of the democratic ideals enshrined in the Constitution and encourages everyone to uphold its principles.
