About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhanjanagar was established in 2010 and initially started functioning for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Over the years, the Vidyalaya gradually expanded and increased its classes and facilities.

The Vidyalaya is surrounded by lush green forests and is situated in the beautiful region of Ghumusar Mati. It is approximately 3.4 km away from the Bhanjanagar Bus Stand. The nearest railway station is at Brahmapur, which is about 85 km from the Vidyalaya. The nearest airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, located approximately 166 km away.

At present, the Vidyalaya offers classes up to Class XI (Science stream) for the academic session 2026–27.
